My first ever substack post!
Excited and nervous. Open to suggestions and ideas
Intro
Hello Substack!
“The secret of getting ahead is getting started”
- Mark Twain
I have finally decided to start my journey on substack and share my life experiences here. I intend to make substack a repository/digital journal that includes within it the things I am good at (problem-solving, finance and numbers, storytelling, health, and fitness) and also expose my vulnerabilities.
Plan ahead
I plan to share aspects of my life that can guide us from having a cluttered thought process to one where we have clarity on the plan of action. If not this I hope my efforts can help declutter your thoughts the same way I could do for myself as I went through life and progressed in my journalling journey.
The content will include the mental model/frameworks I use in my day-to-day life to sail through life’s big and small decisions. I will also share with the community the complete progress of any experiment I take upon myself (I took a 90-day transformation challenge in the past where I lost 9kgs and got into the best shape of my life!). I will share my take on topics like finance, mathematics, geopolitics, and not to forget my 3 a.m. thoughts lol.
I have always been a generalist who has had a lot of interests all through his life and maintaining a digital journal through substack would help me make a community of like-minded people who are equally interested in exploring and gaining clarity on different aspects of life. I have done well in academics, sports, and even very high competition exams, I hence believe I can add value here on substack.
If you felt my vision is somewhat similar to yours I’d be delighted to have you on board.
Final message
Now that I have expressed whatever I wished to as a newbie creator on substack I would request the community to let me know if you have any suggestions on how I can go about things here on substack. I would love to know how you as a creator structure your multi-dimensional content.
I’ll be grateful for all of your suggestions. Thanks
